With Somelight, we explore the theme of inner struggle and the conflicting voices in our heads. Some drag us down while others push us up. To symbolise this duality we drew inspiration from westerns. The characters move through empty environments, allowing us to isolate them visually and emotionally.

The editing creates a sense of anticipation, tension and suspense. Our aim is to stimulate the viewer’s imagination so they can engage with this theme and perhaps ask themselves : « Why don’t I listen to myself ? »
